  • Legacy's Life Transition Plan is a two-volume set of loose leaf, high quality binders that can be purchased individually or as a set.

The binders are arranged by tasks which you fulfill by following the step-by-step instructions and guidance provided.

    No subscriptions or recurring fees.

  • No, there are no recurring or hidden fees. Once purchased, you will have access to download new and updated templates for the life of the product at no additional cost.

  • Having all your confidential financial and other sensitive information in one place may feel uncomfortable. However, digital files, whether in the cloud, on your computer, or in an app, are vulnerable to being hacked. Furthermore, a digital storage provider may go out of business in your lifetime.

    Legacy’s security solution is simple:

    • Your most sensitive information will be in two compact hardcopy binders.

    • Securely store the binders and important original documents in a safe location. Options include a small home safe, a locked file cabinet, left with a trusted family member or advisor, or in a safety deposit box at a bank. Choose a storage solution that offers both security and accessibility according to your needs.

  • Legacy’s Life Transition Plan is designed to be comprehensive, yet not overwhelming. For instance, completing two tasks each month allows you to finish within a year—a reasonable time frame. If you wish to accelerate the process, tackling one task each week can conclude the work in six months. In short, find a pace that is comfortable and realistically doable for you.

  • Absolutely! The Life Transition Plan is designed as a two-volume set so that each binder can be sold separately.

The Life Management binder is designed to help you organize essential documents and information for easy daily access. It serves the dual purpose of simplifying your everyday life while ensuring that your vital records are in order, ready to assist your family if the unexpected happens.

  • Some Legacy’s users have asked whether couples need to purchase separate binders. The answer is…not necessarily.

For couples who share their financial affairs equally, a single Life Management binder can suffice as long as information for both individuals is included in the applicable tabs. However, if their financial affairs are not fully shared, having separate binders can provide clarity and reduce potential confusion for loved ones.

The Transition Guidance binder can also be shared, though it may be a bit more complicated, as many tasks and personal wishes are unique to each individual.

Even so, applicable templates can be copied and filled out separately by each person. That said, having separate Transition Guidance binders may ultimately be more practical. The timing of each person’s passing is likely to differ, and the Family’s Role for the second to pass would not be managed by a surviving spouse.

In summary, sharing the binders is certainly doable in most situations, but having separate binders—especially for Transition Guidance—can simplify matters for your loved ones.
