Congratulations on purchasing your Essential Tasks digital workbook!

This guide walks you through how to download, access, and edit your workbook easily. If you have any questions, reach out to hello@legacy-plans.com.

STEP 1- Retrieve Your Download Link

Click the link in your confirmation email titled “Essential Tasks Download.”

STEP 2 - Verify Your Email

Enter the email address you used to purchase and click Next.

STEP 3 - Enter Verification Code

You’ll receive an email with a one-time 6-digit code from “Digify.” Enter it and click Verify.

STEP 4 - Review Terms of Access

Read the access-terms carefully — they prohibit sharing or duplicating your workbook without permission. Check the box in the bottom left and click Agree & Continue.

STEP 5 - Download the File

Click the download icon (downward arrow) in the top-right of the menu bar. Save the PDF to a convenient location on your computer.

We do not recommend saving it to a cloud service until you’ve finished editing, as some cloud storage platforms can interfere with saving progress in fillable PDFs.

The workbook will be watermarked with your email address.

STEP 6 - Open the File in an Appropriate PDF Editor

You have many options:

If you use the free version of Adobe Acrobat, you will be able to fill in the fields but duplicating pages will not be supported. This matters if you have multiple vehicles or investment accounts.

STEP 7 - Fill in the Workbook

All fields highlighted in blue are fillable — simply click into each and type your information.

Don’t forget to save your file after you add or update content.

STEP 8 - Duplicate Pages (When Needed)

If you need extra pages (for additional entries), duplicating within your PDF editor lets you expand your workbook easily.

Typically: right-click on the page thumbnail you want to copy → select Duplicate Page. The exact path may vary depending on your software.

STEP 9 - Save or Print the Workbook

When you’ve finished entering your information, save a final copy to a secure location on your computer.

If you’d like a physical version, you can print your completed workbook at home or through a professional printer. Use “Fit to Page” or “Actual Size” in your print settings to keep the layout consistent.

Tip: Avoid saving or syncing your file to a cloud service until you’re completely done editing to prevent any data loss.
